Post Configuring directory services

Hi,

I am trying to configure directory services (domain) on fedora core 9. This is totally new to me and wondering if there is anyone out there who might be able to guide me with this.

I have configured server 2008 with AD.

Thanks.

Not sure if you're trying to make the Samba/Fedora server an AD master, or trying to join a domain. These:

http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samb...tive_Directory
http://acd.ucar.edu/~fredrick/linux/samba3/

May help you out. They have more docs on their sites. Never tried to do this, though...strictly unix/linux in my shop.

Thank you for the info.

I am actually setting up an AD master. So, this will be the domain controller as well as a file server. or, so I hope to accomplish.

Thank you.
