Configure Xwindows from text


Hi all,
I have Redhat linux 9 on my system Install and work ,
I want to install Xwindows on it ,
I install it befoure but it is not configure yet ,
how I can configure it ?
I know from old version we can using xconfigure to config xwindows , but How I cam config from redhat 9 KDE
please help me ,

XFree86 -configure
xf86cfg
xf86config

Thanks for your Quick reply , I configure Xwindows , but now I have other problem ,
I have 256 Color and 640*480 Maximum Resunation it is so bad ( the first time I install linux it is working with 600*800 with 32 Bit color ,
how I can configure my xwindows to worke with more color and resulation ,
From System Setting --> Display I can't config it show me better location to enabel me auto probe monitor and Graphic card
I have Intel 810 graphic card on my system ,
Thanks and wait again ...

hi,
i suggest you to run /usr/X11R6/bin/xf86config (in console) - it asks you some questions (make sure you know your monitor specs) and creates basic settings of /etc/X11/XF86Config.. Good luck
