Configure Logwatch to run montly

Hi all,

I am a rather new Linux user. I currently have Logwatch configured (defaults) on a RHEL 4.5 server. The Logwatch version is 5.2.2. By default it sends me reports on yesterday's activities daily which is nice. I was wondering, however, if there is configuration to have logwatch send me a report monthly with the past month's activities summerized?

Thanks,
Bill

sorry. Logwatch is slick, but not that slick. LW has three modes, today, yesterday and forever. Unless you make a way for "forever" to be a month, you can't really do what your asking. But there's always a workaround if you look hard enough. try starting here http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/logwatch1.htm

It also has a date range to allow arbitrary date ranges. Requires more recent versions that 5.x.
