Configure Cyrus Imapd
 

Dear friend ,

I want to configure "cyrus-imapd" into my Linux Enterprise 4 Server .Hence Firstly I have followed the following website's procedure :

But i become fail . Later i deleted the "ZIP(tar) " file and install RPM of this package and also follow the
STEP 7 of the following website :

But still i become fail to get mail from my server using Internet Explorer , where i am using "Postfix" MTA .

Now plz tell me which procedure or Actually which files are needed to configure "Cyrus-Imapd " . Give me STEPS serially
so that i can configure "Cyrus-Imapd" . Plz help me............

Reading the link you sent, Step 8 is not optional. You have to create individual user's mailboxes with cyradm before you can deliver to them.

Cyrus is really complicated. You probably really want something simpler like uw-imapd unless this is going to be a high-volume mail server.
