Configure 108 key usb keyboard

I have LG 108 key keyboard with usb interface. When installing and configuring X I choose 105 key keyboard but can't turn Scroll Lock on, and can't scroll in Konsole.

How can I configure my keyboard to use Scroll Lock?

konzo 12-07-2009 01:07 PM

Is my question clear? Can I setup my keyboard or I can't. Please give some answer or at least say that can't be done.

I understand your English, but can't understand what you're trying to achieve.

What's the desired result of pressing ScrollLock for you?

Cheers,
Tink

I think that konzo's desired effect is for the arrow keys to scroll up and down instead of displaying history in Konsole when Scroll Lock is on.

I doubt that it's possible. I never saw a program in my life (even Windows) that responded to Scroll Lock. Pressing Scroll Lock doesn't even turn on the Scroll Lock LED on my keyboard in Linux.

Yes, that's right. This is exactly what I want. I readed a book where was written that this can be done. In Konsole I use scroll of the mouse, but in terminal (before I write startx) can't see previous screens.

Is there any other way to rewind the screen?

PS: When browsing directory with many files using ls I can't see all results. I don't see an option to stop the screen and to continue by pressing any key (like in dos dir /p).

This is desired result for this.

Try using Shft+PgUp/Down

It works. Only Shift+ UP/Down arrow don't work, but no problem. Thank you very much.
