Configuration file locations and names

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to find information on the location and names of the major configuration files for fedora core2.

What I'm trying to do is take copies of the configuration files so that they can be stored somewhere else and in the event of losing the box be able to copy these files back over a base installation in order to minimise the downtime.

The box is only being used for DNS and Sendmail and no graphical interface has been set up. The main area that I'm interested in is the network configuration.

If what I'm trying to do is not feasable then please let me know and I will use webmin to pick out the information I will need to manually configure the box.

Thanks in advance for any information that you may be able to give me.

/etc is very important (at least in MDK, but it's in FC2 too).

/etc/named.conf

and btoh rndc files should be backed up for your DNS

/etc/sysconfig (ok sysconfig ;) ) should be backed up too.

Don't know where sendmail is (i use postfix)
