Config file in SLES for FC HBA

Hello,

How do I setup detail event logging for Emulex FC HBA card in SLES 10 & 11? In other word, is there a config file in SLES for FC HBA that I can edit to get more troubleshooting info.

Thanks

Hey Zadeh,

There is an optional package for SUSE that installs sar, which is a handy tool for statistical aggregation on any number of system functions.(I/O transfer rates, iopts, paging activity, network activity, swap space utilization, CPU utilization, etc) it sounds generally like what you might be looking for.
More specific information (queue depth/command queuing) are controlled by the distro through setting in /sys or /proc (depending on the distro).
If I knew more specifically what statistics you wanted to pull, I might be able to help you better.
