Question Comptia Linux + Test


Does anyone have a practice version of a CURRENT version of this test??? Also have anyone took this test recently????

Well it'll give you and idea of what level you've reached.
The RedHat exams eg RHCE are more widely known and respected, but they are RH specific (of course most of it applies to Linux generally).

I checked the Comptia website and the Linux+ is from 2004 (isn't a little outdated?)

You could also grab the Live DVD training distro 'elpicx 1.1 '

It is for LPIC certification training, but there's certainly overlap between LPIC and Linux+ Certs.

what is LPIC ???? and redhat is the next thing im going for then solaris after that since i heard solaris admins pull 90k and up a year

Heh, sorry that's kinda funny.

You mention RedHat and Solaris certification but don't bother to use Google to search for LPIC
I've been dong system administration for over 10 years and my first stop for almost any problem or question is usually Google.

Punch LPIC into Google and the very first hit is the LPI Site explaining the LPIC certification
