Completely removing Postfix on Debian

Hello all!

Just started goofing around with postfix and I simply did the apt-get install bit and well i thought that was it. But now I found a great guide on how to actually make it work and I was wondering how do I completely remove postfix from my server if I type apt-get remove postfix, I guess it does remove some of it but I still cannot remove groups or anything.

I want it completely removed so I can start fresh. How can I do that?

Please help!

Try "apt-get --purge remove postfix".

Hopefully that will work.
