I am by far no linux expert either, but i'm going to point out that you did FAR more in this one post, than a lot of people do in an entire thread of theirs. You showed what you tried to do, you showed where you were going to get the instructions to do what you tried to do (so helpful people can read the instructions and make sure there isnt an "oops" in there, so that, to me, makes uyou far more than a noob

well thanks ill take that as a compliment no one can help me after all if they dont know wht my objective is and no one can exactly do it for me and i just have to learn or else i wont get any where so best bet is to provide all the information i can about what exactly im trying to do and hope some one else can help me put the pieces together so i can do it for myself
