Smile compiling Nagios-3.0.6


Hi guys,

I'm trying to install Nagios and it seems like everything runs smoothly until I try compiling using make all nothing happens. My system says bash: make: command not found.
I'm running as root. this is the ls -l of the directory:

The 'make' program isn't in your path. Type in (as root), either "locate make" or "find / -name make". Whatever path comes up, add that to your PATH environment variable.

Go to yast -> add new software, and install make, gcc and the dependencies it asks for.

hi TBone.. this is what I got:

/usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/nwalsh/1.73.2/tools/make
/usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/nwalsh5/1.73.1/tools/make
/usr/share/susedoc/make

which one should I add to my PATH?

thanks makuyl!!! I didn't have make installed on my system. I just installed it and the compiling it is running! Thanks guys!
