Compiling c file in KDevelop c/c++

hai
I am new to linux.normally i'l use vi editor to type c program & compile in terminal itself.now i thought of switching to gui tools.i want to new how to compile and execute in KDevelop c/c++ or kDevelop:KDE c/c++.
