compilation of libpcap


I am facing problem in compiling libpcap.I get error "ANSI.......ioctl....no". so please tell me in detail about how to compile libpcap

I am not familiar with libpcap, but normally there is a README, or INSTALL file bundled with source giving you instructions on how to compile. Have a look and see if they help you at all.

Also, please tell us the exact commands that you are running and the exact output that you are given (copy and paste into the forum).
