compare folders GUI

I'm lloking for GUI app to compare contents of folders and see if there is any difference in size , name, etc of the files in them . Ideally I'd like to have two panes (left/right) with a folder on each side and the possibility to drag files from one to another. Any suggestions?

Midnight Commander? It's not exactly GUI but it should do... to compare folders can't you just use Konqueror/Nautilus and right click on a folder then click Properties?

I'm afraid that's a little too simple. Imagine a folder with some 100 files and a copy that's missing just one, or better still, might have an updated version of one of them... Ill yum for mc and have a look at it though.

Have you ever heard about meld?

I was expecting for something like what linmix exposed in first post.
That's why I bring you my little grain of sand.

Here's all what I'm referring to
meld dot sourceforge dot net
