I'm kind of new to linux, so I have a couple of questions...

Which will be the best distribution for my laptop ? easier ?


How can I configure the video card and monitor ? What information should I enter in this configuration ?


How can I set up the sound ?

Easiest, gotta go with SuSE 8.0. Well not easiest to d/l but easiest to get going and find drivers anyway.

Video card and monitor will be setup during the install, it will probably prob them correctly, but if not, you can always specify the correct ones no problem.

Sound, same thing.

I have downloaded SUSE eval live 8.0, is there a diffrence with SUSE 8.0 ?
