commands


can anyone please post what are the commands for changing directories in fedora linux
i wanted to install something
so i put it in my desktop and documents folder
but i couldn't install becuase i couldn't change directories

The command is cd, for change directory.

That would be:
Code:
cd <directory you want to go to>
in a terminal.

Might I suggest some reading to learn the basics of Linux? Getting started with Linux
