command to gui

Running slackware 9.1 and fluxbox, I usually have been doing things from the command line. However, i would like to get a graphical browser on my computer thats lightweight. I have used konqueror in the past, but its awful, slow and buggy.

So if someone would reccomend a browser for me (just to view stuff on my computer) i would appreciate it. Also, if you have a site or place that i can easily find cool linux software, that would be cool too.
Thanks

links has a graphical interface. Type 'links -g'

EDIT: oh, sorry, I thought you meant web browser. You can try mc if you don't mind a cli interface or xnc if you do

Have you tried gentoo? Not the distro but the browser. It looks like midnight commander (mc) and it's fast.

On second thought, I have found a few other ones like Endeavour2 and emelFM that work great! Now that i know this thing is called a "file manager" i can really search for stuff now. ty
