If logged in as root, is there a command line that can delete all emails in the root inbox?

Thanks JR

Thank you,

I tried that, but I must be doing something wrong. I have 187,000 emails in the inbox, so when I type mail, it scrolls and I get the & prompt. Is this where I type d*?

Thanks JR
