command line install [solved]

i am to install quirky inux of the live cd iso.
i an strugeling because i do not have enough ram to hold and run every thing at the same time, so it will only boot to command line. (no pritty graphics.)
give that the first thing i would do, if it had run, is find the icon to do a full install. dose any one have any idea what the code might be to do a full install of the iso on to sda1
i put this in the newbie section because although i have been using linux for a year or to i know little about code.

What distribution are you trying to install? How much RAM do you have?

Quirky would be the Puppy variant, yes? Well, Puppy is really intended to run in RAM: a normal installation is not secure. Contrary to what some people will tell you, Puppy was intended to be a portable Linux, not a Linux for small computers.

How much RAM do you have? AntiX will run a graphical interface on a 64MB computer, although to run a decent web browser you need 128MB. If you want to install a CLI system only, that would need less and there are distros available for that.
