Command from the Terminal Window

I think this command is for a symbolic link "ln -sf to folder from folder" is this correct?
Also what does the -sf stand for?

If you need help with a command, a good place to start is the terminal itself. You can use the man command to get help, in your case it would be
Code:
man ln
If you look at this you will see what option does what.

First off, type 'man ls'.

Moving on.

ln -sf means:

-s create a symbolic link
-f force creation even if a file already exists.

I normally stick with ln -s FROM_ORIGINAL TO_TARGET

Forcing anything without a good reason is a silly habit to get into.
