Thanks, but it just logout the user and did not show any window. Is there any command by which the logout window will appear with four options (shut down, restart, log out, Save confg.) as when we click Action-->Log Out button ?

I'm googling but it appears you need to play with:

Code:
gnome-session-save -gui
I don't run gnome myself anymore unfortunately otherwise I'd try and help you out more.

Cheers,

Which window have you got?
The window should have the shut down/restart/log out options.
