combining RH 7.3 installation cds
 

I have copied the original cd (disk1) to my machine and have removed and added the rmp's that will be needed for install. I am trying to combine some of the rpm's from disk 1 and disk 2 into one cd. I then used genhdlist to make the new hdlist files. I then made the iso and tried it. Results are that if I use the hdlist that I generated then the install fails, however if I make an iso using the orginal hdlist from the orginal Redhat disks it works but prompts me for the 2nd disk. There is somthing going on with the comps and the hdlist. This is all using RedHat 7.3. I know I know that it would be better to upgrade to 9 but this is what I am stuck with (company policy). Help please if you have some imput.
