Combine and extract .rar files


I have several related files on my redhat enterpise server system that end in .rar. How exactly do i combine and extract the contents of each .rar file?

to open the rar file on linux u will need the extra tool for that
try this
http://www.rarlab.com/rar/rarlinux-3.6.0.tar.gz

p7zip will also extract rar files if you have it installed
