colinux help


i need coloinux help.i installed colinux in ma lap with winxp sp2 and ubuntu 9.04.
but after installing when i runs it,in the console it get stops with the message"kernel panic-not syncing no init found try passing init=option kernal"
why it happnds so?
also tell me on installing colinux,whether the alredy existing ubuntu 9.04 or new linux os will simultaneously run with XP?

configuration:
acer 1642zwlmi
intel pentium M processor 1.7GHz,400MHz fsb,2mb l2 cache,512 mb ddr2
please help

It's a while since I used coLinux. Can you post (copy & paste) your configuration file?

Welcome to my world, you have to install a distro hdd image.

I had Debian "lenny" (when it was testing) running in it.

Thanks. It looks different to my config files, as far as I can remember. Probably different colinux versions. So I can't help really. Have you tried the colinux wiki?

hai..
thanking u for all help u have provided me.
i newly installed redhat enterprise linux 5 in my acer aspire 1642wlmi
i do have only driver for windows.but i don't have any of driver for redhat.
how to get drivers(gaphics,audio,lan,modem....)
please help....

You would be better off starting a new thread, asking your new question, in the Red Hat forum.
