here are few steps

here you can find few step and hope you will get it done

Install the software package "squid".

Start squid using the command "rcsquid start".

Observe squid logs in /var/log/squid.

Configure a browser to use a proxy at port 3128 on localhost. Do some
browsing.

Observe squid logs in /var/log/squid.

Consult the squid documentation in less /usr/share/doc/packages/squid,
particularly in less /usr/share/doc/packages/squid/FAQ. Alter the
default configuration as required.

When it is operating to your satisfaction, you can have it start at boot
time by executing the command "chkconfig squid on". See
/etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 FW_REDIRECT on how to configure a
transparent proxy.
