Clonezilla-SysRescCD multi-boot custom CD
I am running Fedora 10 Linux distro, and somewhat of a newbie. I attempted creating a "Clonezilla-SysrescCD" multi-boot custom CD, following the directions on the site, http://clonezilla-sysresccd.hellug.g...html#sysresccd (the section "Creating Multi Boot custom CD", but received an error that I don't have FreeDOS. I looked it up, and their site states that it's installation package will overwrite an existing OS... I guess it must be installed on it's own partition. Again, being a newbie, I believe continuing with this will be way over my head. There is a multi-boot version for download, but is quite outdated. I emailed the site owner/Clonezilla-SysRescCD multi-boot creator, whom replied that he doesn't have time right now to recreate the multi-boot download.
If there is anyone else out there willing to give it a try, following the instructions at the link above, I'd appreciate it... and, I think many others may as well, as these are both great tools, and very convenient if compiled into a multi-boot CD. Thanks |
All that looks pretty intense huh?
LOL Why not just boot systemrescuecd and partedmagic? partedmagic has clonezilla you wanna boot pmagic/sysrescuecd and more? |

Hi,
Just a few; 'SystemRescueCD', 'UBCD' and 'RIP' LiveCD to name a few. 'PhotoRec' is another recovery tool. Look at the 'Tools, Recovery, Diagnostic, Emergency' section of 'Slackware-Links'. More than just SlackwareŽ links! :hattip: |
Thanks all... I do like both Clonezilla & SystemRescueCD, and know that both packages work great! This is the reason I hoped to stick with them, preferably with a multi-boot CD. But, currently, I do have each iso's on separate CD's.
