Clock keeps setting itself in Slack 9.1, KDE 3.1.4

Hi, I am running slackware 9.1 w/ KDE 3.1.4 as my WM. For some reason when I try to set the date with the "adjust date and time" option (graphically) it gives me an error--until I set the date on the CLI. Once the date is correct, I can run the "adjust date and time GUI" without problems.

But for some reason, the date keeps switching back to 1999. Is this a bad CMOS battey? Or is there something else I should investigate first?

Thanks,

Dean

Check what that date+time is in BIOS if it is wrong set it, if it changes by itself, replace the CMOS battery

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:25 PM.
