Im using SLES9:newbie:

My question is, thus my antivirus database is updated base on this config....but I see OUTDATED

Hi,

It looks to me like you should update your ClamAV installation with the new version available :)

Ok I install the latest clamav and its working. I need help..this is the output:

Hi,

Try running this command:

# clamscan -r -l scan.txt /

This will log everything in the scan.txt file.

# clamscan --bell -r --log=/home/user_name/virus_log -i /

The above command will scan the / directory recursively (-r) and log (--log) the result in the virus_log file, will beep (--bell) each time a virus has been detected and only print (-i) infected files to the output.

Also have a look in /etc/clamav/clamav.conf file.

My clamav is working. What I want is to delete the infected file or quarantine it. Does this clamav have autodelete or autoquarantine by default....:Pengy:

Clamav does not quarantine see this for more . If you do clamscan -i -r it should tell you which files are infected. Up to you, with further investigation, if you delete or not.
