chroot [var does not exist] deb squeeze

this has never happened to me one year ago when i was on lenny now i'm using squeeze can it be the problem?
(nevermind what i type in httpd.conf it always gives var error.)

create directory

mkdir -p /var/www/var/run

restart apache service and monitor log for the same.

Let us now if there is any error.

Lol i have found a problem:
when i have setted
chroot to /var/www/
the / should be /var/www/ right ?!
but look it is documentroot root:/var/www/var/www/var/www# nano index.html

But it's working wrong because / is now /var/www/var/www/ not like it was before /var/www/ ....
seems like document root is compiled into apache somewhere and apache is instead of ignoring build one for documentroot in sites-enabled it is adding to each other.....
so I have instead of documentroot /var/www/var/www i have /var/www/var/www/var/www/
