Choppy Realplayer

I have realplayer installed on my Suse 10 box. It works but the playback is choppy.(Both audio and Video) Is this just my video card or is it soemthign with the program? I went cheap but I don't think it's that bad. (GeForce 6200 PCI-E) Or is it something with the PCI-E technology?

I have been experiencing the same problem ever since I upgraded my motherboard and cpu. I am using my old graphics card and realplayer worked fine with it before the upgrade. I have a sneaky suspicion that its the onboard soundcard that could be responsible for my problems. The funny thing is that realplayer works perfectly when I load FreeBSD or Solaris on this machine. It seems like there are many people who experience this problem on Linux but I have not found a good solution.
