Question Checksum 4 Slackware download - what type of checksum is this.


Md5 sums all wrong. Are slackware downloads in a different format eg crc, sh1 etc.

It states "checksum", not "md5 checksum" in the slackware download section of linuxquestions.org so I suspect they may not be md5's.

checksums are md5.
