Checking Software Version Number

Hello Again,

My brief question: How do I check the XFree86 version I have? It is my belief that version 4.2.0 supports ATI Radeons where as version 3.3.6 does not.

Regards,
Ezekiel

"XFree86 -version" will tell you what version, it's usually the way with most programs, -v instead of -version usually works aswell.
Hope that helps..
