You can check if the services are started with e.g.
Code:
ps aux | grep rpc
I get:-
Code:
$ ps aux | grep rpc
root 1580 0.0 0.0 37068 2800 ? Ss 05:11 0:00 /sbin/rpcbind -w
statd 1609 0.0 0.0 37268 3028 ? Ss 05:11 0:00 /sbin/rpc.statd
root 1614 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S< 05:11 0:00 [rpciod]
root 1623 0.0 0.0 23348 208 ? Ss 05:11 0:00 /usr/sbin/rpc.idmapd
root 2188 0.0 0.0 37804 2204 ? Ss 05:11 0:00 /usr/sbin/rpc.mountd --manage-gids
jeremy 14088 0.0 0.0 12724 2268 pts/0 S+ 19:37 0:00 grep --colour=auto rpc
Note:- ignore the last line - it indicates you are executing a grep command.

Is there anyway to check from rc2.d if kerberos is enabled? If it is enabled what will it look like?
