localizing fedora core 2
I am trying to make it work to no avail...
I am running Fedora Core 2, with apache and php and mysql When i create a (php) page reading data from mysql (the data are written in greek) I see the data in greek but when I echo something through php I see all characters mangled up. There is something I have to do but what ? Thanks in advance |
i was searching the same problem....
You have to recompile using "--default-character-set=greek" Did you find any other solution?? Also, you may look here: http://lists.hellug.gr/pipermail/lin...ry/078113.html |
Thanks for that,
recompiling it saved the day.... but the next a complete disk failure ruined it again!!! I was busy with my job to search again but in a couple of weeks i'll be on again thanks |
Also try to define to your apache "AddDefaultCharSet XXXXXXXXXXX" your LanguageCharSet ;)

Thanks !!
I ll try that as well.... as soon as I ll get sorted! |
