Changing the network card speed
hello all,
I installed linux mandrake 9 on multi-boot a few months back to see how it worked
But I now want to connect it to the internet through my current network
I have setup static ip which it reconises, but I need to set the network speed from (100Mbit / Full duplex) to (10Mbit / Half duplex).
my windows system was the (10Mbit / Half duplex) because of problem with the cable.
How Do I do this....
Thx

Thx Peacedog,
that was useful got it set to 10baseT HD now but it still ain't working
looks like something more to this.
So here are a few details to if anyone can help figure it out:
###################################
my computer is sitting behind a syslink router and the local network is set to Static IP
I have set IP, submask, gateway, DNS (3 which are static) left the domain name blank(dunno if that wud stop it) but I have set Local Host name.
I can set a host name and domain name in the internet setup menu on my router and MTU if that is any use.
my network consists of 2 computers:
# the family system with Windows XP
# My system With Windows XP and Linux Mandrake 9 on Multi-boot
###################################
thx
