Changing the default Kde file manager

Is it possable to change the default file manager for Kde. I knwo i can just choose to browse my file system with another one, but when I moutn a deivce for example and choose to open it in a window, it does so in konquer.

Is it possable to change the default Kde file manager so that when ever it goes to open something with the file manager it does so using the one I have chosen?

Michael.

maybe move the konq binary and create a symlink from whatever it is you want to use to konqueror in whatever directory it should be?

Never tried it but worth a shot?

NOTE: I said move, not delete, so you can move it back if it all goes tits up

i tried that i renamed the konq binary in usr/bin/ and made a system link to the binary of the file manager i want to use and named it konq but konq still loads as the default.

Does anyone have any ideas?
