Changing Mouse
Hello
I am a newbie to Linux and I am using RedHat 9
I have RedHat 9 running fine right now. I want to change my mouse. The current PS2 mouse that I have right now is too crappy. I have another PS2 mouse that I would like to use.
I replaced the mouse and I start up my computer. During the boot up process Kudzu gets invoked and tells me that my old mouse is not detected and whether I want to remove the configuration of my old mouse, OR do nothing. I tried both options, but it does not make any difference. Also Kudzu does not detect my new mouse. At the end of the boot up process, X does not start and I have to log on into text mode.
Both mouse are simple PS2 mouse with a wheel. Under the Mouse Configuration application I choose Generic 2 Button Mouse (PS2) Driver. Is there any way for me to change mouse without having to reinstall red hat 9 ?
Thanks
