Changing memory during and after installation

hi...

i'm installing Linux desktop using ubuntu server installer, my computer has 128MB of RAM. What i'm about to do is to add a 256MB RAM upon installing the OS and just remove it after the installation.

I would like your comment regarding this action that i am about to take..

thank you...

No big deal unless there is a memory mismatch. Linux won't care - do it.
