I'm real new to this whole thing, my linux buddy is helping me setup my server, but hes not around right now, so I'm hoping someone else can help me..
I'd like to change something real simple before me and my buddy get into the tricky stuff. I'm without a keyboard and mouse right now, so my only access to my server running Red Hat 9 is through SHH and Putty.
I was wondering if someone can tell me the command for changing my hostname. Right now when I login it says:
[tristan@computername tristan]
Hoping I could change "computername" to something more interesting before my buddy helps me get real stuff done. Thanks alot in advance!
