changing hard disks

i have 2 hard drives and i have linux installed on the slave hard drive. i was wondering if it is better to have it as a master? i have windows installed on the other drive.
if it is better how would i do it ? i use lilo and i dont know how i would install the boot loader on the other drive?

Quite honestly, windows does not like being on anything other than the primary master. In fact, it's hard to convince it to install anywhere else.

What advantage were you hoping to get by this switch?
