Changed window manager - GNOME problem
 

I recently changed my window manager from default metacity to sawfish (using GNOME). The problem now is that my GNOME settings are not saved when I log off -- most notably the workspace switcher always reverts back to one single workspace when I restart.

How do I set it up to save my settings when I log off?
