changed MBR


i am using redhat linux and as of right now while booting up my machine LILO starts and by defualt wants to boot linux if you dont tye in dos. (dos is the shortcut word im using to boot up win instead). but by defualt i want windows to boot up. how can i change this

As root, edit the /etc/lilo.conf file. It has the stanzas for all OSes that it controls, it indicates the default stanza, and controls the timeout value for your default.

Somewhere in /etc/lilo.conf there is something called default...

There you can set which OS to default boot (by using the label name).

And ALWAYS remember to run /sbin/lilo afterwards to write the new linux to the mbr, otherwise you won´t be apple to boot.
