Changed host name

Recently I changed my host name by running the following command:

Code:
sudo gedit /etc/hostname
It succesfully changed, however now every time I attempt to use sudo (accessing root) it returns "unable to resolve host laptop" - fortunately I'm still able to use the command but it just displays this every time.

Is there anywhere else I need to edit to readjust this?

Hi,

Did you make the same change in /etc/hosts?

Kind regards,

Eric
