change to noapci in Slackware


i want to know how do i change to noapci insteed of acpi in my Slack 12.1

Try adding:

append="pci=noacpi"

to lilo.conf
and then type
lilo
from the command line.

Just to clarify, I always put it at the beginning of the file(although I'm not sure if it matters where it is in the file):

# Start LILO global section
append="pci=noacpi"
