Change Thunderbird Password in FC5

I received an authentic e-mail from a third party stating that my account had been compromised and suggested that I change the password to my account and e-mail account. I changed the password on my ISPs mail server but am having a hard time finding where I can implement the change within Thunderbird. Do I need to delete the account and add it again [the messages are stored on the server]? I am using Fedora Core 5.

Thanks,

I infer that you have T-bird setup to remember your password. Otherwise, you would simply enter the new password at startup.

For saved passwords:
Edit --> Preferences --> Privacy --> Passwords
Open "saved passwords", remove the old password. When you sign in with a new password, you can tell T-bird to save it.
