Change IP address in Mandriva 2007


I nee to change the IP address of my machine, on which Mandriva 2007 is running. I went to 'Configure your computer' and then seem to be stuck

as root:

Assuming your interface is eth0, and the address you want is 192.168.1.5:

ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.5

Configure Your Computer -> Network & Internet. You should find options there to change your network settings.
