Change default firewall script on Fedora

Hi,
Is there anyway to replace the default firewall script that runs at startup in Fedora core 1? I tried to put a script into local.rc, but it caused the system to hang on startup.
thanks,
Ed

Go get firestarter. Firestarter is a program that helps you set up iptables by using a bash script which you can run at startup. It block most torjans and bad ip addresses so you do not have to go out to the internet to find the info.

I wanted something that would run automatically without making you type in the root password everytime you started up
