CENTOS6 (or other) IPv6 Server
Hello
I am using Centos6 32bit minimal in a vmworkstation 8 VM.
I have previously configured an IPv4 DHCP Server; and attempting to configure an IPv6 version. This will be used to test successful network settings prior to IPv6 implementation
The logic is as follows:
Emulate a routable subnet, and create a loopback.
IE: IP Address of server / gateway
2001:ABCD:ABCD:ABCD::0001/48
DNS Server - same PC
Gateway - Same PC
Preferably forward requested traffic to a loopback address so that I may verify
The devices behind the server would request /64 subnets, and serve as the gateway for client devices that they host. The clients behind these devices would configure EUI-64 addresses.
If anyone knows of any links to a good tutorial that would be great.
