Centos Server Failed @ Bootup: Missing "/sbin/blkid" & "fsck" command not found

Hi Everyone,

Good day!
One of my server failed to bootup properly after a power surge.
This server was previously setup by an ex-colleague, and since I'm not very familiar with Linux, I hope to find some help in troubleshooting it and get it running.

Thank you in advance!

Do you have the installation media?
If so, boot from it and use it to try and see if you can detect the disks.

When you boot from the installation media select "Rescue installed system" to proceed.

Start there.

Hi Gattaca,

Thank you for the reply.
I have tried it out just now, and was able to see the disks.
With help from the internet, I was able to run fsck on the disks as well.
But upon booting up from the harddisk, I got the same error as before.

Are there anything that I can try further?

Thanks!
