But it is unsuccessful my case
Please, translate unsuccessful. What is the output of yum? Any error/suggestion? Additionaly, please post the content of /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Media.repo. Finally, what installation media do you have (full DVD release, LiveCD, NET install) and which directory the disc is mounted in?

The error message is as 'Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata for repository :c6-media :Please verify its path and try again'. Please find attached my CentOS-Media.repo . I am using full DVD release and the mounted directory is as /dev/sr0 (as seen by df -m).

Check the name of the mount point. /dev/sr0 is the device name, not the mount point. In the output of df it is the last field. In the output of mount (without options) it is the second one, e.g.
Code:
/dev/sr0 on /media/something etc etc
then modify the baseurl key in CentOS-Media.repo accordingly.
